SAMEE Recognised in Bursa Malaysia Quality 50 Index (BMQ)
On 13 February 2026, SAM Engineering & Equipment (M) Berhad (SAMEE) was selected as a constituent of the Bursa Malaysia Quality 50 Index (BMQ) and the Bursa Malaysia Quality 50 Shariah Index (BMQ S), following the official launch of these indices by Bursa Malaysia Berhad on 12 January 2026.
The Bursa Malaysia Quality 50 Index profiles 50 listed companies from the Main and ACE Markets that demonstrate strong financial quality, assessed using transparent, rules based quantitative measures including Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity ratio, and Operating Cash Flow relative to Profit After Tax and Minority Interests.
Bursa Malaysia confirmed SAMEE’s inclusion, noting that the Company’s selection reflects financial discipline, sustainable earnings, and overall business resilience. This inclusion underscores the Company’s continued commitment to strong fundamentals, prudent capital management, and sustainable value creation for shareholders.
